WHAT IS THE RETAINER FEE TO BOOK?
The non-refundable retainer fee is 30% of your chosen photography coverage options and is required (along with a signed contract) to secure your wedding date in my calendar.
WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE OUR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHS?
You can expect sneak peaks (15-20 images) placed on my social media within a week of your special day. Your wedding gallery will be ready to view and download within 12-14 weeks, depending on the time of year (wedding season can be crazy). I always try to deliver sooner, but do not worry; a link to a private gallery with Your amazing wedding photographs will soon be dropping into your mailbox, and you'll be able to share it with as many friends and family members as you desire!
HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL WE GET?
For a 'standard' full day wedding, you can expect around 500 photos. It's hard to predict exactly how many photos I'll be able to take and deliver as it depends on many factors (the number and willingness of guests, timings, how much is going on on the day, etc.) On average, I usually deliver around 500-600 photos (more if you book a second photographer).
CAN WE HAVE ALL THE RAW IMAGES?
Nope! Choose me because you trust me and love my final product. The RAW images don't represent my final work.
DO YOU HELP PUT TOGETHER A TIMELINE OR SHOT LIST?
Yes! One month prior to your wedding, I send you a questionnaire that you will fill out, which ties together everything I need to know for your big day! I then create your photo timeline. We will then have a final call to review it together and answer any last questions! I use this timeline to direct and keep everything on track during the wedding day!
DO YOU DO FORMAL / GROUP PHOTOS?
Yes, I will spend some time taking some relaxed portraits of you together as a family, because I know how important those are. However, I always recommend keeping these to 5-8 groups. Otherwise, it might become a nightmare for you, and you might get bored after an hour or so of standing still and grinning directly into the camera. On the wedding day, there is so much to enjoy that you wouldn't want to miss much of it due to drawn-out group photos. Photos with the groomsmen or bridesmaids don't count as part of the 'group photos', and I'll do some fun ones for you!
WHERE ARE YOU BASED? DO YOU TRAVEL ABROAD?
Yes, I love to travel both domestically and internationally, and I do so often, for leisure and for work. I'm based in South Oxhey, Hertfordshire (near London), and travel within the London area and within England and Wales is included in your photography package. I’m happy to travel further afield, anywhere you wish, though travel and accommodation expenses will be added as an extra cost.
DO YOU INCLUDE A SECOND SHOOTER?
I don’t offer second shooters in my base collection. However, you can add on a second shooter from the add on section in my investment guide.
WHY SHOULD WE HAVE A SECOND SHOOTER ON OUR WEDDING DAY?
Just think: double the photographers means more photos and more angles. They help keep the timeline on track, they are able to be in a different place than me at the same time (think of me taking portraits while they are capturing your cocktail hour), and they allow for more moments to be captured! I feel confident enough on my own to capture the entirety of your wedding, but inevitably, think about the ratio of how many guests you have to how many photographers you have, and it surely helps to have one more!
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO WE NEED TO BOOK?
I recommend getting in touch at least 4-6 months before your wedding date to make sure that there is enough time to meet and plan, as well as to ensure that I have availability, but do get in touch even if your wedding day is just around the corner!
ARE YOU INSURED?
Yes, I’m fully insured with both Public Liability Insurance and Indemnity Insurance. Your venue may need to know this, and a copy of my certificate can be sent to them.
